The first step to lay a foundation was made by Mr. Josef Gschwendtner in 1934 in Kiefersfelden. At that time, the company transported goods for the residential cement and natural stone industry. When his son started working in the family business, the company developed more business fields. That is when we began with international long-distance traffic to Italy in 1963.
The company transferred to a bigger premises to Oberaudorf in 1976, because of the constant business growth.
Since 2004 Markus Gschwendtner is the new CEO from Gschwendtner Transport + Logistics in the third generation.
A new big step was the expansion and resettlement to the hometown Kiefersfelden.
The expansion resulted in generous storage facilities, an office building, as well as a workshop and a washing facility for our trucks.
To provide the best services to our customers we invest in road equipment and continuously work on our business growth.
We take upcoming challenges, such as globalization and digitalization, to take our part for climate protection and CO2 reduction.
